When installing Jupiter Mobile for the first time, you will be guided through an onboarding process that includes creating a new wallet. You can either choose to create a wallet using a seed phrase, or use social login (Quick Accounts) to create a new wallet.
Jupiter Mobile is a self-custodial wallet, and does not have direct access to your seed phrase, so it's essential to keep the seed phrase somewhere safe, ideally offline.
If you already have Jupiter Mobile installed and want to create an additional wallet:
- Open your wallet drawer on the top left
- Select the “Switch” option on the top right
- Select “Add Account” → choose between new recovery phrase or existing recovery phrase
- For a new phrase - a new wallet will be created with a fresh recovery phrase
- For existing - you'll be prompted to select the wallet with the recovery phrase from which you'd like to derive a new wallet
