Jupiter ID is a unified identity verification profile used across all Jupiter Global products. Verify once, then access Jupiter Card, QR Pay, and Remittance without repeating the process.
Jupiter ID is required to access any Jupiter Global feature. It is not linked to the user’s DeFi wallets and does not grant access to wallet funds.
Verification Process
Open Global mode → Start verification → Submit ID + selfie (+ proof of address in APAC) → Verified in 2–4 minutes → Access all Jupiter Global products
Identity verification is required by law to help prevent fraud, money laundering, and misuse of financial services. The process is handled by SumSub.

Approval Time
Verification typically takes 2 to 4 minutes. In some cases, manual review may extend this timeframe.
Data Handling & Privacy
- Verification handled externally. Jupiter does not store or process identity documents. All verification is handled by SumSub.
- Separated from DeFi. Jupiter ID is not linked to DeFi wallets. It is used only for Jupiter Global services and does not grant access to wallet funds.
- Activity separation. Onchain activity in DeFi mode is not associated with Jupiter ID.
Limitations
Jupiter ID cannot be deleted once created.
- Cannot be deleted. Once verification is complete, the Jupiter ID cannot be removed.
- Required for all features. There is no way to use Jupiter Card, QR Pay, or Remittance without a verified Jupiter ID.
- Region-dependent requirements. Required documents may vary by country of residence.
